Park Fees and Nationality Pricing

Entry fees and activity prices that follow each traveller's category.

Park entry fees and activities are priced by traveller category, so mixed groups are costed correctly without a spreadsheet.

What it does

Uganda's conservation and activity pricing depends on who is travelling. A foreign non-resident, a foreign resident, an East African citizen and a Ugandan do not pay the same. Getting this wrong is one of the most common ways a quote loses money.

Quest resolves each traveller's price group from their passport country and applies the matching entry fees and activity prices. For mixed groups, the cost summary allocates costs per traveller, so you can see exactly who the quote is charging for what.

Licensed operators selling to both visitors and East African residents, as many Uganda companies do, rely on this split. You avoid the common mistake of quoting an international gorilla permit price to a resident group, or the reverse.

Why operators use it

  • 01

The right fee for each traveller

Entry fees and activities follow the traveller's category, not a single average.

  • 02

    Mixed groups handled

A party with East African and international travellers is costed per person.

  • 03

    Shared or per-person

Mark costs as shared or per-person and see the split live in the builder.

How it works

  1. Add travellers

    Enter each traveller's passport country.

  2. Add destinations and activities

Fees apply by category as you add them.

  3. Review the split

Check shared and per-person costs in the summary.
